For Stats page to update in real time, you have to set your web browser to always refresh the page.

How to set browsers to always refresh pages

Internet Explorer 6.x or 7/8 (Windows)
Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Internet Options...
IE6 - In the General tab, under Temporary Internet Files, click Settings...
IE7/8 - In the General tab, under Browsing History, click Settings...
You may receive a message about changing the disk usage click OK to accept the default change
In the Settings window, select “Every visit to the page,” then click OK twice to save the changes.

Internet Explorer 5.2 (Mac)
Open Internet Explorer, then go to Explorer > Preferences...
In the Preferences page, under Web Browser (left-hand side), select Advanced
The Advanced menu will open. Under Cache, next to Update pages, select Always.

FireFox & Safari (Windows & Mac)
There is no preference to force load all pages.  If stats don’t update when Safari or Firefox opens, hold down the ALT key (OPTION key on Macs) while clicking the RELOAD button in the browser

Netscape 7.x (Windows & Mac)
Open Netscape, go to
Windows: Edit > Preferences...
Mac: Netscape > Preferences...
In the Preferences window, select Advanced from the Category panel (left-hand side).
The Advanced panel should open. Select Cache.
On the Cache screen, under Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network, select Every time I view the page.
Click OK to save the changes.
